Golf Classic: Our 2026 Golf Classic took place at Rossmore Golf Club last Friday and Saturday. Monaghan Harps Lotto: The numbers for last Sunday’s draw were 10, 23, 26 and 28. Jackpot of €2,800 not won. This week’s four €40 lucky-dip prize winners were: Lorcán Donnelly c/o Rose Donnelly; Packie McCabe c/o Séamus Treanor; Brendan McMahon c/o Séamus Treanor; and Mary Macklin c/o Maria McKenna. IFL: We lost out to Killanny in the Intermediate Football League on Friday night. A disappointing first half left us trailing by 1-7 to 0-3. An improved performance in the second half saw Lochlainn Power, Michael Galligan, Seán Callan, Fionán Ó Gallchóir, John McCrystal and the returning Dean Doherty kick scores, but Killanny’s second goal put it beyond our reach.

Minors: The Minor Football League has returned from the exam break. We host Tyholland next Tuesday. We wish Lewis Duffy a speedy recovery from his injury from last Tuesday’s game.
U-16: Hard luck to our U-16 Division One team, who fell just short in an exciting league semi-final at home to Inniskeen last Thursday.
